Our Shaklee Success Story

When you're focused on trying to find enough money to make the house payment and feed your three beautiful children, a Caribbean Cruise is not on your radar - it doesn't even sneak into your dreams because you are focused only on surviving, making it through the day - to the end of the week - into the next month without going under and losing everything. That's what our life looked like when Shaklee entered the picture in 1981 and changed our life forever as depicted in the photo above taken in the Caribbean last year - our 30th Shaklee trip!

Despite the stress and frustration of a dead real estate market, no money coming in and health challenges due to constant worry, we retained our faith and continued to pray for something to ease our financial strain. We imagined it would be the sale of a residential property providing a much-needed commission - never in our wildest dreams did we envision what actually happened.

After close friends recommended we use Shaklee nutrition products to improve our health, they shared the many possibilities open to us via the Shaklee business opportunity. They presented Shaklee as a vehicle with unlimited potential. One that could deliver us from immediate financial difficulty, but more importantly it could secure our future. Now that was compelling. A free car! Was it really possible? Our friends had one - could we get one too?

We found ourselves beginning to dream again – allowing ourselves to hope. At last we could see a way out of our situation. If we worked hard for a few years we could build a business that would reward us for a lifetime. We made a strong commitment to go all out.

Our first month in Shaklee, we did over 5000 in volume and earned about $1200. We proved to ourselves that Shaklee was real and would work for us as it had for others, and a strong belief spurred us on - we were all in for Shaklee. We found four other couples who joined our team and we were off and running. Within two years we were driving our first of seven free cars, had enjoyed an all-expenses-paid trip to San Francisco and our monthly pay check had tripled.

The next milestone was to hit a six-figure income and earn annual incentive trips to exotic destinations – luxurious trips provided by Shaklee. We’ve been enjoying these benefits for 30 years – what a ride it has been for us and our family.
